How Do I Know MY REServation went through?
After successfully completing your reservation, you will immediately receive a Travel First Order Number as well as an email confirmation outlining your reservation details. If you do not receive both, then your reservation was not confirmed and you should reach out to us at firstname.lastname@example.org
I didn't receive an email confirmation & didn't have to provide a credit card to book.
If you did not have to provide a credit card to guarantee your reservation, then your reservation was not processed. Please make sure to follow each step provided by your coach and listed on the website to fully process your order.
i haven't received a hotel confirmation number.
Hotel Confirmations will be sent via email within 1 week of your arrival date. If you have questions prior to receiving your hotel confirmation number please contact Travel First Agency at email@example.com.
when i call the hotel, they have no record of my reservation.
The rooming list may not have been submitted or entered into the hotel's reservation system yet. Until you receive your hotel confirmation number, you should contact Travel First Agency regarding any questions/changes at firstname.lastname@example.org.
the hotel does not recognize the invoice number i have.
The invoice number is unique to Travel First and is not affiliated with the hotel.

how do i MODIFY OR cancel a reservation?
If you are looking to add a night to your reservation please email your request to: email@example.com; Please include your Travel First invoice number and the day/date you are looking to add.
If you need to cancel a night on your reservation, please do the following:
- Log in to your account
- Go to Orders & Payment
- Click on Details for the reservation/invoice you need to change
- Click CANCEL next to the night you are looking to cancel; If you are cancelling your entire reservation you do need to click Cancel next to each individual night
*Cancellation of your reservation must be received by 11:59pm CST the Tuesday prior to arrival (unless noted otherwise at the time of booking). All changes and cancellations need to be requested directly with the hotel once the individual penalty period begins*

- Click on "ORDERS/PAYMENTS" to view your list of reservations
CAN i SWITCH HOTELS?
Yes, as long as it is before the hotel's cancellation date and the new hotel has availability you are able to change hotels. Please email firstname.lastname@example.org with your current invoice number as well as the hotel you would like to switch to.
cAN i USE MY REWARD POINTS TO PAY FOR MY RESERVATION?
No. In order to use hotel/credit card points to pay for your reservation you will need to book with the hotel directly
CAN i EARN REWARD POINTS ON MY RESERVATION?
Yes. Please enter your hotel reward number in the special comment box when making your reservation or you can provide your reward number to the hotel upon check in.
HOW DO I BOOK A ROOM AFTER THE CUTOFF DATE HAS PASSED?
Please go to the Events page on the Travel First site
Click on the tournament you are looking to make a reservation for
Scroll down to the hotel you are interested in booking and click on Request Reservation
WHAT IF MY PREFERRED/TEAM HOTEL OR ROOM TYPE IS SOLD OUT?
If you are booking under a team block, first make sure you are using the link provided by your coach this should take you directly to your team block (a booking code is not needed) and you will simply need to scroll down to the team hotel option and click "Reserve Now" to begin the reservation process. If the hotel/room type on your team link is showing sold out, then please click on Request Reservation and a travel specialist will contact you within 24 hours of your request to either confirm your reservation or offer an alternate option.
WHAT IS THE LAST DAY TO CANCEL MY RESERVATION WITHOUT PENALTY?
The cancellation policy for each hotel/event varies. Please refer to the terms and conditions of your reservation on your confirmation email to verify the cancellation deadline.
i NO LONGER NEED A HOTEL RESERVATION AND WOULD LIKE TO CANCEL AND REQUEST A REFUND?
Please follow the instructions on how to cancel a reservation via the Travel First website. Unfortunately deposits paid at the time of booking are non-refundable per the terms and conditions agreed to at the time of booking.
MY TEAM IS INTERESTED IN A HOTEL THAT IS NOT ON THE LIST OF PARTICIPATING PROPERTIES. wHAT CAN I DO?
Please email email@example.com and let us know you are interested in a property that is not listed on our website. Please provide as much detail as possible (hotel address, room types, etc). Our Travel Director will review and will be in touch with how to proceed.
CAN I PRE-PAY FOR A HOTEL RESERVATION?
If you plan to pay for multiple rooms on one credit card or if the cardholder will not be present at check in, you must complete a credit card authorization form and submit directly to the hotel 4-5 days prior to arrival. After you receive your hotel confirmation number please reach out to the hotel directly to make arrangements for payment.
can i include a special request or preference?
Yes, when making a reservation on our website please indicate any special room requests or preferences in the Special request box. All requests will be passed along to the hotel during the reservation process, we will do our best to meet your needs during your stay however, neither Travel First or the hotel can guarantee special requests. If you are adding a special request after the reservation has been made please wait to receive your hotel confirmation number and then contact the hotel directly with your request.
WHAT IS THE MINIMUM AGE REQUIREMENT TO CHECK IN?
Most hotels require guests to be at least 18 years of age to check in however, some hotels have a minimum age requirement of 21. Please contact the hotel directly to verify their age policies for check in.
WHAT IF i WANT A DIFFERENT ROOM TYPE THAN WHAT IS AVAILABLE ONLINE?
If you need a different room type than what Travel First has contracted (for example a family suite, upgraded room, etc). Please book the room directly with the hotel our contracts do not cover suites/upgrades.
WHAT IF I FIND A LOWER RATE AVAILABLE ONLINE?
Travel First guarantees the lowest group rates at our partnered hotels through continual rate integrity checks. If you find a lower rate please send an email with a screenshot showing the lower rate to firstname.lastname@example.org. Please note our guarantee is only applicable until the contracted cutoff date. Once the rooms are released the hotels are able to sell remaining inventory at rates that are not covered by our contracted guarantee.
The following types of rates are NOT covered under our guarantee:
Any pre-paid/non-refundable rates
Rates found on 3rd party sites such as Expedia, Travelocity, hotels.com, etc
Corporate negotiated rates
Hotel employee/Friends and Family rates
Member only program rates such as loyalty, reward clubs, etc
Membership rates such as AAA or AARP
Any rate quoted for a group where the group misrepresented their identity and the purpose of their visit to the hotel
WILL MY CREDIT CARD BE CHARGED AT THE TIME OF BOOKING?
Your credit card will be charged for the non-refundable deposit at the time of booking. All remaining payments will be due to the hotel upon check in
the hotel does not have record of the deposit paid at the time of booking?
Deposits are paid to Travel First to guarantee your reservation and is charged at the time of booking. The deposit is subtracted from the advertised room rate.
WHAT IS THE REQUIRED NUMBER OF ROOMS THAT MY TEAM NEEDS TO BOOK THROUGH TRAVEL FIRST?
In order to be in compliance with the stay to play policy each team attending the event must book 8 rooms per night.
